The MATT LUCAS AWARDS...ONLINE!
The pilot episode of 'The Matt Lucas Awards' can now be viewed online!
So, if you missed the show you can watch it HERE.... More episodes are to follow!
Extract from the site:
"Forget the Baftas and the Oscars, Matt Lucas is the host of his very own awards show in which he and his star guests nominate incomprehensible accents, unusual talents and rubbish songs to win coveted 'Lucases'. This isn't a real awards show of course, it's a pilot we've recently filmed with Matt which we're excited to tell you has been commissioned by BBC One."
Is that Pippa Middleton...or is it DAVID WALLIAMS?
His hairy arms and large hands might blow his cover but David Walliams tried his best at impersonating Pippa Middleton in his latest photo shoot.
The Little Britain star slipped into a copy of the white silk bridesmaid dress that made the nation obsessed with Pippa’s pert rear at the Royal Wedding.
Despite being 6ft 3in, David wasn’t letting that deter him from trying to get a taste of Pippa’s popularity.

LITTLE BRITAIN Cake
I have FINALLY finished my "Little Britain" Cake!
The best part of making the cake was watching and re-watching my boxset of 'Little Britain' for "research."
The cake was a lot of fun to make and I am thinking about doing a 'Come Fly With Me' one next!

DAVID WALLIAMS is Awfully Good...
David Walliams returns to UK screens, this time in a presenting role, as he runs down the most embarrassing clips from TV, films and adverts.
Fresh from bringing his and Matt Lucas’s new comedy Come Fly with Me to our screens over Christmas, David Walliams presents a new three-part compendium of guilty viewing pleasures: two hours’ worth of cringe-worthy clips from the television shows, films and adverts that are “so bad, they’re good” (the programme-makers’ promise, not ours).
These include everything from Keanu Reeves being out-acted by a wooden stake in Bram Stoker’s Dracula to the embarrassing roaring shark from Jaws 4: The Revenge and excruciating attempts by the BBC to get hip in the 1970s with a contemporary black music show called Blackcurrent – which lasted a mere one episode.

MATT LUCAS'S Radio 2 panel show to be piloted for TV
The BBC has announced that 'And The Winner Is...', the Radio 2 panel show hosted Matt Lucas, will be piloted for television.
A hit on Radio 2 since its premiere in February 2010, the format - hosted by the Little Britain and Come Fly With Me star - is a comedy panel game in which celebrity guests are invited to nominate recipients to receive 'a prestigious Lucas Award'.
For example, awards handed out so far on the radio version have included 'Sexiest British Prime Minister', 'Greatest Song By A Musical Artist Who Is Otherwise Rubbish', and 'Most Disappointing Film Sequel'.
A second series of And The Winner Is... is currently broadcasting on Radio 2 on Saturday nights at 10pm. The show is produced by Ashley Blaker, who worked with Lucas and David Walliams to bring Little Britain to Radio 4.
The television pilot, which has been given the working title The Matt Lucas Awards, will be recorded in front of a live audience on Thursday 12th May 2011 at Television Centre.

DAVID WALLIAMS completely renovates new Brighton home
DAVID Walliams certainly knows how to treat his Laydee wife.
The Little Britain star has splashed out £1.7million on an all-new marital home for supermodel Lara Stone.
The openly heterosexual star, 39, who purchased the sea-view property in Brighton (the gay capital of Britain) last year, has virtually knocked it down and had it rebuilt.
His luxury renovations include an en suite master bedroom with his ’n’ hers sinks and a wall-to-wall mirrored dressing room. It will also house a “nursery-style room” – presumably for when Matt Lucas, as big baby George Dawes, comes to visit.
Having Mucca so close would not sit well with David’s Little Britain character, Neighbourhood Watch jobsworth Sid Pegg.
My source reveals: “David was house-hunting in Brighton for some time – he loves the bohemian feel of the town. After exchanging on a stunning sea-view house, he and Lara decided to completely renovate it – the building is a shell at present. They want to make it a real family home and add loads of personal touches. Both David and Lara would love to have kids so she is keen for a nursery.
“As a supermodel she also has an extensive wardrobe, so David will be giving her a room dedicated to clothes storage. But he also has a pretty expansive wardrobe, what with so many keepsakes from Little Britain – laydees’ frocks, wigs and comedy glasses.
“There will just as likely be a room for him where he can try on various costumes and enjoy a spot of privacy.”
The unlikely couple, who got married a year ago, attended a Japan disaster appeal fundraiser at London’s Nobu on Thursday and left around midnight.
Wonder if the Mucca news will wipe those smiles off their faces...

Set in and around a fictitious airport and its three airlines FlyLo, Our Lady Air and Great British Air, it again sees the two comedians playing multiple characters.
A second series was announced by the BBC last week.

But Lucas and Walliams have noted the series is not as grotesque as some of their Little Britain characters who include the manager of the airport’s coffee kiosk ‘Precious Little’, the airport’s chief immigration officer ‘Ian Foot’, a camp air steward ‘Fearghal O’Farrell’ and the owner of low-cost airline FlyLo, ‘Omar Baba.’
