ABOUT DAVID WALLIAMS:
  • Changed his last name from Williams to Walliams after discovering there was already a David Williams in the actor's trade union.
  • Met Little Britain co-creator Matt Lucas when both attended the National Youth Theater. The pair debuted on stage together in 1995 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
  • Swam across the English Channel and the Strait of Gibraltar for charity. 
    Is the author of three children's books;  The Boy in the Dress (2008), Mr Stink (2009) and Billionaire Boy (2010).
  • Was stalked by an obsessed fan over a four-year period. The woman was later committed to a psychiatric hospital.

  • In March 2010 Walliams and a group of celebrities cycled an end-to-end journey through the UK, raising over £1 million for Sport Relief. Walliams suffered a serious fall when tackling Kirkstone Pass, a thousand-foot climb in the Lake District, but was able to complete the ride.
  • In March 2011, he undertook "24 Hour Panel People", in which he took part in back to back recordings of various panel show formats over the course of 24 hours to raise money for Comic Relief. The recordings were streamed live on the BBC website.

ABOUT MATT LUCAS:

  • He is perhaps best known for his acclaimed work with David Walliams in the television show Little Britain and spoof interview series Rock Profile, as well as for his portrayal of the surreal scorekeeping baby George Dawes in the Reeves and Mortimer comedy panel game Shooting Stars.
  • In May 2007, he was placed eighth in the list of the UK's 100 most influential gays and lesbians.
  • Lucas ventured into the world of stage musicals in 2002, when he took one of the main roles in Boy George's musical Taboo, at The Venue, London.
  • In 2005, he took his first role in a television drama, a supporting part as a Venetian duke in the BBC historical serial Casanova, written by Russell T Davies.
  • Lucas' appearances on television include Big Brother's Little Brother, Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack, Little Britain, Rock Profile, Little Britain Abroad, Little Britain USA, Come Fly With Me, and Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire.
  • On 3 October 2010, he played the role of Thénardier in a special one-off performance celebrating the 25th anniversary of Les Misérables, held at the O2 Arena in London, which he will reprise at The Queen's Theatre, London from June 23rd 2011 to September 10th 2011
